1. Chairman’s Comments
The Chairman welcomed everyone present
2. Apologies
Cllr Mrs Spence this absence was formally approved, by vote, having considered and accepted the reason for absence

4. Meeting minutes to be approved
It was unanimously agreed that the Chairman should sign the minutes of the meeting held on 26th June 2019
5 Clerk Report
a) The Clerk has replied to Paul Edwards advising that Orby Parish Council wish to be consulted on all planning applications, they also wish to continue receiving paper plans

7. Report from LCC & ELDC Councillors
LCC – Spoke on the resurfacing of roads, which has been posted on the notice Board
ELDC Cllr Eyres commented that it was nice to be back, and he was impressed with the new speed sign

11. Speed Indicator – Cllr Walton
The speed indicator can be moved every 2 to 3 weeks once it has been recharged,
Cllr Walton asked for volunteers – no one indicated an interest
It was unanimously agreed that another bracket at a cost £57 + delivery should be
purchased, to enable better use of one of the sites
12. Emergency Plan
The emergency -plan has been completed as far as the Councillors are able
and now wish to call a full village meeting for the next step
13. View on the New Local Plan
The new plan should simplify the procedures, there is still much work to be
done by the District and the Environment Agency
The Parish Would support more building within the Village, and no building of houses on grazing land
