Notice is hereby given that the Orby Parish Council AGM will be held on
Wednesday 27th May 2026 - Village Hall
The meeting will commence at 7.00pm when members of the public can ask questions or make statements from this time with the full Council meeting commencing at 8pm.
Members of the Public and Press are welcome.

Annual General Meeting
Prior to the start of the AGM, there will be an opportunity to meet the Councillors and have informal discussions with them about your concerns etc.
Questions can be formally asked prior to the AGM commencement.
The meeting will commence at approx. 7.30pm with the following.
1. Election of Chairman
To nominate and elect the Chairman and receive the Declaration of Acceptance of Office.
2. Election of Vice‑Chairman
To nominate and elect the Vice‑Chairman and receive the Declaration of Acceptance of Office.
3. Apologies for Absence
4. Declarations of Interest
To receive declarations of disclosable pecuniary interests and other interests.
5. Minutes of the Previous Meeting
To approve the minutes of the meeting held on 25th March 2026.
Governance & Annual Administration
6. Review of Governance Documents
To review and approve:
• Standing Orders
• Asset Register
• Insurance cover
• Meeting schedule for the coming year
The full council meeting will commence after this session has ended.
Ordinary Council Business
1. To receive reports from outside bodies
2. Finance - To approve payments, note receipts, and review the latest bank reconciliation.
3. Councillors’ Reports re: External meetings
4. Date of Next Meeting Wednesday 29th July 2026
