Agenda
Annual Parish Meeting for Orby
• Report by Chairman
Cllr Davie (Chairman Orby PC) wanted to put on record the appreciation of the work done by Cllr John Walton for the Orby area. Unfortunately, Cllr Walton has had to resign due to him moving out of the area. This brings the number of Counsellors down only 4 so the PC still has vacancies for another 3 people to join the fight.
He went on to castigate the Planning in the area – saying it was laughable. Some decisions are disastrous for the village and set a precedent which will detrimental to the village.
The biggest challenge facing Orby is the march of the pylons across the area. This is not just a fight for Councillors however. All the Residents must make their voice heard against this industrialisation of the area.
• Questions and Answer session for members of the Public.
What has happened to the Local Plan?
Catchwater complaints re sewage in the ditches.
