Notice is hereby given that the Orby Parish Council meeting will take place on:

Wednesday 30th July 2025, Village Hall, Orby at 7pm

Prior to the meeting, there will be a Public Forum commencing at 7pm and during this time, Members of the public may ask questions, or make short statements to the Council.

Members of the public and press are welcome.

The Council meeting will commence at 7.15pm. This notice summons all members of the Council to attend from 7pm or submit their apologies to the Clerk at the earliest opportunity.

Parish Council Agenda

1. Apologies for absence
2. To receive Declaration of Interests
3. Notes of meeting held in May 2025 to be approved as Minutes
4. To receive reports from outside bodies
5. Reports from Councillors external meetings
6. Update on acquisition of land by PC to form a new Village Green
7. Setting up of a Committee to administer this transfer and arrange funding etc for its upkeep. Project needs a name for Constitution etc.
8. Update of report on vehicle transit speeds through village and footpath survey – by LCC
9. Finance reports
   1. Current bank account totals/cheque recs.
10. Finance:
    1. To pay other outstanding amounts:
       1. Re-issue of cheque for Village Hall – incorrect amount declared on last invoice – now £100
       2. Bank refused cheque for Clerk as date smudged – re-issue one for £166.40
       3. Microsoft Licence renewal £84.99 (already paid by Clerk).
